New to laser cutting, or want to test different power and speed settings on your laser?

Here is a set of downloadable test file and DAT settings file for your Epilog laser.

You can use these files to runtest grids for ACRYLIC, GLASS, ALUMINUM, CERMARK for glass, MOLYBDENUM on aluminum, and more.

Test grids show an assortment of different power and speed settings in one file. It is time-consuming to draw them. We did it already, so are making these files available to save you time. It took us many hours to draw these, determine a good set of test settings for each material, and to assemble them into a convenient file. You can save yourself time, materials, and hassle by starting with our files. From there, you can refine the settings for your own specific needs.

This includes bothRASTER andVECTOR test settings. Note you must use software that can print vector files. This includesAdobe Illustrator andCorel Draw . Inkscape CANNOT PRINT VECTOR FILES!! This is a limitation in the actual printer driver of Inkscape and is beyond the scope of our ability to help with.

The photos here show test grids on aluminum mugs with Molybdenum spray, and on glass with brush-on Cermark for glass.

This purchase includes the EPS test file to print to the laser. It also includes as a bonus, power setting *.DAT files for Epilog lasers for various power settings. It uses Color Mapping to allow you to print combinations of power and speed settings in one pass. This makes it easy to test settings on new materials!

Because the Epilog printer settings allows up to 16 Color Mapping settings per file, multiple image & DAT files are included so you can test more settings.
